Join us for this comprehensive review to understand vital pulp therapy. Faculty will present current evidence-based practices in treatment planning, materials and techniques. We will examine critical thinking and problem-solving when faced with complex cases in vital pulp therapy.

At the completion of the program, participants should be able to

• Understand diagnostic considerations for VPT that are essential for case selection
• Gain knowledge on armamentarium and different materials used in VPT procedures
• Understand the biological principles of VPT that contribute to healing

UB Faculty:

Mohini Ratakonda, BDS, MS is a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Periodontics and Endodontics of the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Ratakonda graduated with her BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) degree from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, India in 2011 and her MDS (Master of Dental Surgery) degree in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics 2016 from the same university. She pursued Advanced Education in Endodontics from SUNY at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine, and earned her certificate in June 2023.
