Violet I. Haraszthy, DDS, PhD, MS, RN, is full professor and former Chair in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine at Buffalo, her alma mater. She holds a Certificate in Periodontics and a Certificate in Prosthodontics, and received an Honorary Doctorate in 2013 from the University of Szeged in Hungary. Her career spans education, research, and private practice. She is very active in professional organizations and volunteer work for her community.
